When Paul declared, “I die daily,” 1 Corinthians 15:31, obviously, he was not referring to a “coffin job” but a way of life walking in humility. The resurrection life of Christ is contained within every “Born-again” Believer, waiting to be released. If we do not submit to the daily dying in humility, we will never experience the release of that resurrection life of overcoming.

Revelation 12:11 “They overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto death.” The last part of the verse, “….they loved not their lives unto death,” is not so popular. Yes, it can mean a physical martyrdom, but it also includes the daily dying to self by yielding to the Indwelling Christ.

God points His finger to a specific place where I can surrender to Him and die to self creating the opportunity for the resurrection life of Christ to come forth in me, but if I never embrace the situation presented to me and humble, then I stay the same!

The Living God has an actual desire to produce a finished work in us. He longs to see His children walk in their inheritance and divine birthright. He works with us to see that desire of His fulfilled. 2 Thessalonians 1:4-10 His desire is that He will be glorified and ADMIRED in the lives of His saints. Verse 10 “When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be ADMIRED in all them that believe….”

God, the Master Craftsman, delights in the impossible. He has no pigeon holes, He does not tick boxes! He is a Craftsman and may spend many weeks on one small portion. That which He does is perfect – little by little, step by step, but you will never fault it, where He repairs there is no obvious join. As Adam’s wound was closed up by God, there was no scar for He is a Craftsman, not a Probationer, not an Apprentice but a Craftsman! He is so skilled that His work is perfection. No fault will be found in THAT DAY when He displays you as a work of grace to the world. See what God’s love and grace does to a fallen man! All He asks is that you will allow Him to do it.

How often we struggle against His workings, complaining about our situations. The rebellious children of Israel, though living in the miraculous provision of God, had “an evil heart of unbelief” and asked, “Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? – Psalm 78:19. You cannot “can God!” GOD IS! God does not need to be validated, but trials will come to me. The only way I will get through them to produce God’s gold in my life, is allowing Him to work with me with His methods. The trial of our faith is tested when we meet the impossible. It is in that place where we prove the faithfulness of God.

A belief in the impossible demands a refusal to believe the obvious!

The place where God is working in our lives to produce sensitivity to Him and tender-heartedness can be likened to His “threshing floor.” In Biblical days the threshing floor was where the chaff was separated from the corn as it had no further use after harvest. God takes hold of me and as I yield there, He deals with me in His loving kindness and removes the “chaff” from my life which has no further use in kingdom purpose.

The threshing floor of God is a holy and sacred place. Only in this place with Him will I be conformed to the image of His Beloved Son. His resurrection life in me will be released for His purposes and glory, for the extension of His Kingdom.

Isaiah 60: 1-5 is our portion!
