Psalm 2:v 1-4

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take councel togetheer, against the Lord, and against His annointed, saying,

3″Let us break their hands assunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

4 He that sitteth in heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision .

Many people in secular society, who do not have a personal walk with God often take the Lord’s name in vain, using it as a means of emphasis and having no effect in their lives.

My being judgmental, taking offence puts me out of relationship with such – making certain I lack any form of ministry towards them.

We know as believers in God, there is power in the name of Jesus and calling out to Him is not in vain.

Attempting to correct statements of profanity in unbelievers can have a negative effect, a demonstration speaks louder than words, and as we carry the presence of God amongst those who reject Him or have not been enlightened our lives speak louder than words.

Jesus says ” No man can come unto me unless the Father draw him, and none that he has given can be plucked out of my hand”.

If I truly believe this there will be a demonstration of a tabernacle rest in my relationship to unbelievers.

Man’s attempt at being acceptable to God will not achieve anything –

Luke 18 v 10-14

10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee and the other a publican.

11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all I possess.

13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, “God be merciful to me a sinner”.

14 I tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself  shall be abased: and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

My purpose here on earth is not to put people right, but to get right and continue this walk in humility –

Humility is the currency of the Kingdom of Heaven
