With the passing of our beloved Father in the Faith and mentor, Arthur, we felt led of the Lord to read the following scripture from Joshua 1:1-11, but to make it personal to us by replacing Moses’ name with Arthur’s, and Joshua’s name with our own name, which would read as below:

1 “Now after the death of Moses (Arthur) the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spoke to Joshua (own name)….saying,

2 Moses (Arthur) my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses (Arthur).

4 From the wilderness……and unto the great sea……shall be your coast.

5 Therefore shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses (Arthur), so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee nor forsake thee.

6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore unto their fathers to give them.

7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law (revelation) which Moses (the Holy Spirit through Arthur) commanded (ministered to) thee……that thou mayest prosper wheresoever thou goest.

9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

10 Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people saying,

11 ……Prepare you victuals, for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the Lord your God gives to you to possess it.

13 Remember the word which Moses (Arthur) the servant of the Lord commanded (ministered to) you saying, The Lord your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.”

The ministry that came through Arthur and his life was prophetic, he was a sign to the Body of Christ. For years he had a “John the Baptist ministry”, he ministered on God’s preparation of our hearts to carry the Presence of God for God’s glory, the third third – Tabernacles. (1 – Passover, 2 – Pentecost, 3 – Tabernacles, the day of fullness.) Arthur’s decline and passing has heralded the new era, Tabernacles and fullness. Only as we abide in Father God’s Presence, listening to and obeying His voice, eating from the Tree of Life instead of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 3), will we inherit “the Promised Land” of Tabernacle fullness, evidenced by the Rest (Presence) we carry. “Signs” shall surely follow this people, but they will not “go before” or be pursued. A prepared heart and life carrying God’s Presence will pursue intimacy with Father, Son and Holy Spirit in a transparent abandonment, making choices from a surrendered heart according to God’s will, for the extension of His kingdom purposes in the Body of Christ, reaching out to a lost world for redemption.

This new era proclaims the day of “the one man show” is over! This is the day of fullness when our Father God requires His Body, the Church, to be a healthy body, “fitly framed TOGETHER,” not religious, weak, sick and ailing, full of bitterness and unforgiveness releasing a stench in God’s nostrils and false ambassadors of Christ to an ailing and needy world.

The true Church of Jesus Christ is a healthy, vibrant Body of Believers, a living demonstration of the love of God, fitly framed together and preferring one another in love, Romans 12:9-10 “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love, in honour preferring one another.” This is the day of the Body working together, relating and being accountable to a healthy Body, governed by the Head, our Lord Jesus Christ. We need one another, even our “uncomely” members.

BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED, YOU CAN BE “SCENT” WHERE YOU ARE. Does my life leave a deposit of the fragrance of Christ to others? I cannot answer that for myself, but my Heavenly Father sees all and knows. Surrender leaves a fragrance of humility.

The new era has begun. We are literally seeing the change. The last move of God so often dislikes the new. We are seeing in many of the traditional churches a tearing apart from the old era to the new. A paradigm shift is taking place as there is an out-pouring of the Holy Spirit bringing an anointing where no man will take the glory to himself. In times past when we have grieved Him we have sensed that His Presence has lifted, and we have been grieved at the loss. But a time is coming where if we offend the Holy Spirit, He will not leave but He will move us out of the way, this is the time for God’s manifest glory and purpose in a linear direction, a crossing over into the new era. Circling the wilderness is coming to an end, the Promised Land with all it’s fullness is at hand. God is bringing a time of direction in His purpose.

God’s time clock is governed by events/dispensations – rather than by our clock of minutes and hours. We are getting ready to move into a major event on God’s clock, the new wine skin of God’s final purpose on this earth.

Joshua 18: 2-3 “And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes which had not yet received their inheritance. And Joshua said….How long are you slack to to go to possess the land which the Lord God of your fathers has given you?”

God will not tolerate slackness in us any more.

As we said earlier, the day of the one man show is over. In this new era we need to be in relationships with the Body of Christ where people love each other and their lives are effective for the Kingdom of God. Ineffectiveness has a very loud voice! Now is the time to “stand and be counted”, to be real with God and walk in our new identity, “Christ in me, the hope of glory.”

“Thine is the kingdom, Thine is the power, Thine is the glory.” FOREVER! Matthew 6:13
