Arthur Burt came to Bron Wendon in November 1978 in obedience to a word in the book of Haggai quickened by the Holy Spirit. The promise that “this latter house will be greater than the former house” (Haggai 2:9) inspired him to believe that the Lord would restore the dilapidated building for the Glory of God.

When the Lord restored Arthur’s son, Steve, after many years of being in a backslidden state, a godly relationship between father and son was birthed which saw the beginning of the restoration and renovation of the physical building. The building, seen as a type or an analogy of the restoration of the spiritual body of Christ. The Spirit, emphasising and encouraging us to make ourselves ready in relation to Him and one another as His bride. The small body of believers that currently worship here is an expression of this.

Bron Wendon is a fellowship and ministry house. Through the years, hundreds have come to receive and partake of what God has deposited there. Currently doors are open at two conventions annually.

The fellowship has been meeting there for the past four decades with its main emphasis being to minister to the body of Christ.
