Our journey to purchase the Oasis property at Dwygyfylchi, Conwy, North Wales commenced in April 2019. The Lord began to birth in different members of the Bron Wendon Fellowship the idea to purchase the Oasis. Initially, no one was interested, or receptive, to the prospect – but God had a different plan. He began His work in us and divine conception took place, uniting hearts and minds to line up with God’s perfect plan for the Fellowship to purchase the Oasis.

Birth settles destiny. When God begins He completes. This idea was birthed of God, not of us. Our part was to exercise faith for the purchase money. The Lord began to reveal His plan incrementally, directing and leading in His timing. This brought us to the place on our journey where there was still an outstanding financial balance to be found. We had to encourage ourselves to stand in faith remembering the statement “Until you meet the impossible, you do not test the resources of God.”

The journey to purchase the property was a rollercoaster of highs and lows with multiple learning curves, opportunities for testing faith, relationship challenges and proving God. We believe God’s biggest challenge to all of us was the importance of maintaining the right relationships together, (even more than the finance.) In God’s perfect plan He had that covered. Our part was to keep our hearts right with each other and the Lord, in spite of adverse challenges. God WILL NOT bless disunity.

Only through our Father’s love, grace and mercy did we prove God. In His perfect plan and timing, God provided the final outstanding balance of the purchase price. It was a supernatural miracle, all glory to God!

The members of the Bron Wendon Fellowship have spent the last few years in a labour of love, renovating the building and grounds. As in any project, the work is ongoing, including maintenance.

Local members have enjoyed working together as a group in projects and maintenance, enjoying the fellowship of hearts in the workplace. The Lord has mightily blessed the work of willing hands.

Just as importantly, others who do not live locally have supported us in prayer, finance and encouragement. For many years they have been in close relationship with us. They are very dear to our hearts and know who they are. We consider them to be an extension of our Bron Wendon Fellowship family and we thank them for their support and love.

As a resource centre for the Body of Christ, the Oasis is available for bookings for self-catering Retreats, Conventions, Conferences or Holidays with basic accommodation. There is a large function room which seats 100 with kitchen facility. The extensive grounds have beautiful views of Conwy Bay with good parking facilities. (No overnight camper vans, camping or animals).
