Nehemiah 8:10 “…..The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
The Lord gives revelation to challenge ourselves in adversity. There is a place where I can abide, in God’s strength, in adverse situations. I do not rejoice in the adverse circumstances, but I rejoice because there is a place in God, where I can keep focused, enter into His strength for capability and consistency as I abide in Him. God’s strength enables me, comforts me, as I abide in Him – this is the source of my joy, in spite of my circumstances, for in His presence is fullness of joy.
Psalm 16:11 “You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy….”
Psalm 43: 2 “You are the God of my strength…
4 Then will I go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy:”
If I do not have the right attitude in my circumstances, I forfeit the joy (strength) of the Lord. Joy and peace come from abiding in the Vine, our Lord Jesus, who then enables me to be, what He called me to be, and do, what He calls me to do in His strength, by His divine power. It is often quoted that our attitude determines our spiritual altitude!
Isaiah 40:28 “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might, He increaseth strength.
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.”
The eagle is not like other birds, it does not flap up, it mounts and soars far above the earth. The above scripture reveals there is a God-given place where we can arise, in His strength and joy, to overcome the circumstances of life. We have limited the Lord, the Holy One, by our choices.
PROPHECY
“The limits you have put on Me are about to be removed – but I am not changing, for I never change, but you have limited Me by your choices…but in My love and mercy, I come to you again. With every new choice comes opportunity for increase. I am the all-governing God. Increase and abundance is what I have for you. Will you let go and just change your choice? Let go of your understanding which has limited Me and move into this dimension of love and joy in abundance in your God.
Know this: the limits you have placed on Me, I am helping you remove from this day forward.”
