Psalm 119:165 “Great peace have they which love thy law and NOTHING shall offend them.”
Can you bear to be left out? If you are hurt when you are neglected, forgotten, ignored, misunderstood, left out or despised, you would be puffed up and exalted by recognition, applause, being the centre of a group, promotion or success!
Most surely offence will come. I must learn to take it to the Lord and see the hand of God at work in my life through it to reveal His Son in me……..beauty for ashes, I receive His grace to minister it to others, not just to bask in for myself.
Everyone craves for recognition and applause. I spent 20 years working as an entertainer where I was recognised and received applause. The more recognition I received the more applause I received and the more money I received. I now thank GOD that I do not seek man’s approval, but I am still given “good advice” and told about things that I should do to make things better. I thank GOD that I am not influenced by what others think, only by that which I receive from my heavenly Father. I don’t care what people think, only by what God thinks. I thanks God that I have been set free by the blood of the Lamb. Having said all that I realise that I can still cause offence and I realise that I am far far from being perfect. Thank you Arthur for sharing and taking to the people the vision which God gave to you.
